Cook – Four Ten Hour Shifts

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

*Must have 2-5 years of experience, preferably in high volume production kitchen with high food quality standards in preparation and presentation.

*Good understanding of food production and fundamental cooking techniques.

*Understands roasting, braising, and sauté techniques.

*Must be able to prepare soups, gravies, and basic sauces from scratch, as well as cooking of breakfast items to order.

*Knowledge of proper knife-handling.

*Follow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product.

*Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards; observe proper food handling techniques.

*Able to keep work area neat and clean at all times; clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation.

*Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required license or certification:

Oregon Food Handlers Card

Medication Tech / Caregiver Night Shift

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

*As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our residents with the administration of their medications.

*You may also be asked to provide care giving assistance as required. You must have experience working as a Medication Technician/Aide, a great customer service attitude and be able to communicate effectively with residents, family members, health-care providers and co-workers.

 

Night Auditor/Janitor

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

This is a full time (30 hour a week) position 3 10 hour shifts starting at 9:30 PM and ending at 7:30 AM.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

*Monitor the security and safety of the residents, respond to emergencies, contact appropriate emergency personnel, vacuum, dust, clean restrooms, wash laundry, empty garbage’s, wash windows, post fliers, etc.

*We are looking for someone that is reliable, self directed, calm in an emergency and has good communication skills.

Dishwasher

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

*This individual must have a friendly, professional, and energetic personality and have a passion for improving the lives of others.

*The successful candidate for this position will have a general knowledge of cleaning and sanitation and will maintain food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state regulations.

*Must have the ability to operate institutional dishwashing equipment.

*Requires knowledge to read and both understand oral and written instructions including chemical and/or cleaning product label instructions.

*Maintains a clean and orderly work area at all times.Works as part of the culinary team and may be required to assist with food preparation on an as needed basis.

*Moderate-to-heavy physical conditions. – Involves heavy lifting and carrying of over 50 lbs.

*On feet most of the time. – Involves walking, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.

*Pushing and pulling of carts and racks. Some exposure to uncomfortable temperatures or odors.

*Perform other duties as assigned.

Dining Room Server

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

*Provide quick, efficient, pleasant delivery of food in the dining room, ensuring the quality of standards and services are being delivered.

*Serve meals and bus tables while maintaining a friendly, respectful, and courteous personality.

*Assure that residents’ assistive devices are appropriately stored, making certain that safety is not compromised.

*Set up and break down dining room tables and wait stations prior to and following meals.

*Clean equipment, furniture, appliances, floors, drains, storage area, refrigerator, freezer, and sinks according to schedule.

*Keep the environment safe, clean, and free of clutter.

*Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.

*Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned.
